Biography
LaToya Drake is a partnerships manager and spokesperson at Google. As a founder member of the News Lab at Google, she leads the team’s Inclusive Storytelling pillar, which includes working within the industry to elevate unheard voices. She also provides television and radio commentary on news, social media and pop culture trends across the Web, and travels to newsrooms around the world teaching journalists how to use Google's tools in news gathering. She has appeared on a wide range of national and local programs including The TODAY Show, CNBC, CNN, FOX News, ABC News.
LaToya earned her MA in Communication, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University and her BS in Communications and Political Science from Florida State University.
