The Future of User Engagement for News

On Thursday 30 April 2015, the fourth edition of the News Impact Summit (NIS Paris) will be held in the beautiful city of Paris, France. NIS Paris will shed light on the theme "The Future of User Engagement for News."

Organised by the European Journalism Centre (EJC) and the News Lab at Google, this one-day public event will bring the journalists and media trainers spearheading the field of user engagement, newsgaming, video journalism, social media journalism and data journalism to the media centre of France. The summit will offer 8 workshops and skills training on the topics varying from the gamification of news, new video formats for news, social media to engage news audiences to tools training on Google Earth, Map and StreetView, and from designing state-of-art newsroom workflow strategies to applying user engagement methods into news audiences management.

Le 30 avril 2015, le European Journalism Centre et le News Lab at Google organisent le News Impact Summit sur le thème “Le Futur du User Engagement pour l’information”, à Paris. Cette quatrième édition du News Impact Summit réunira des experts et pionniers français et internationaux du news gaming, de l’interaction avec les utilisateurs, des stratégies vidéo et réseaux sociaux, pour une journée de conférences, avec 8 ateliers de formations ouverts à tous les professionnels des médias.
