Livia Manywounds is Dene from the Tsuut'ina Nation which borders the city of Calgary in Alberta Canada. She is a former reporter for CBC Radio-Canada and operated a first of it's kind pop-bureau covering stories from 5 First Nations in Southern Alberta.
Prior to working as a Journalist, Livia worked in the Victim Services field for over 10 years, providing support to Victims of Crime in 3 First Nation Communities. Now, Livia shares her experiences with others as a freelance consultant and continues to pursue her dreams. She is a rising Indigenous Fashion Designer and a Rodeo competitor in Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping and Teamroping.
